Thomas Wikman, Voice Teacher
Introduction
Mr. Wikman has maintained one of Chicago's most active voice studios. Many of his
students have performed roles at the Metropolitan Opera,
San Francisco, the Chicago Lyric, and the great houses of Europe, including those of La Scala,
Vienna, Berlin and Bayreuth. Wikman students have performed and recorded with most of the
great conductors of the day.
As a pianist, he has accompanied many singers in recital, including Frank Guarrera, Simon Estes, Isola Jones,
Judith Nelson, Tamara Matthews, Patrice Michaels, and Gloria Banditelli.
