Organist Activities
As a touring organist, Mr. Wikman performs frequently in recitals around the country. He has been heard often
at Harvard University's Busch-Reisinger Museum. He made his European debut in 1992, playing recitals
in the cathedrals of Landsberg and Ingolstadt.
Wikman's annual European organ tours have taken him to Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Hungary and Denmark.
Harpsichordist/Pianist
Mr. Wikman has appeared in the Chicago Symphony chamber music series as harpsichordist and organist;
as organist on tour with the Chicago Symphony brass section; at the Ravinia summer festival as
harpsichordist and conductor; and at the White House as harpsichordist in two command performances during
the Carter administration.
As a pianist, he has accompanied many singers in recital, including Frank Guarrera, Simon Estes, Isola Jones,
Judith Nelson, Tamara Matthews, Patrice Michaels, and Gloria Banditelli.
